Easter was a whole week of celebrating here in SA. It began with a little egg hunt at Isabel's Moms and Tots class.
At home after Moms and Tots...
Above: We couldn't go to church on Easter, b/c Pat and I would be out of town at a Safari Lodge, so we went the week before (Palm Sunday) to make up for it. This is Isabel after church peeing! She had to have that blanket over her head too.
The next day there was a Mom and Tots Easter Party. Here is your African Easter Bunny with Is and Lil.

The girls painted eggs at Isabel's class that Wednesday. Louise, her teacher, also read them a Barney Easter Story.
That Thursday, Randy and Linda arrived from the US. Randy is Pat's mom and Linda is Pat's Aunt. Randy brought helmets for the girls to play with. I said Lillie should probably never take that off. haha They loved the helmets
The girls did an easter egg hunt in the back yard with Grammy. (Please ignore the spots of dead grass in our yard from the sand box being moved around.)
Linda and Randy out to eat in So. Africa!
Time to dye eggs! This was a total mess!!
That Saturday Pat and I left to go on safari at Kruger/Sabi Sands. Randy and Linda watched the girls for us. On Easter they took the girls to a huge market where they could see the Easter bunny, pet live bunnies and do some more egg hunting.
The girls jumping at the market.
The next day Randy and Linda also took the girls on a game drive at the Lion Park in SA. See Linda with the girls in the pic below...
That was our Easter week and more. Be on the look out for my next post about Pat and I's trip to Kruger National Park!!!
