Our Safari Trip to Entabeni in South Africa

Last Thursday Pat, Stef and I took the girls to Entabeni. It's in the Limpopo Provence of South Africa. We all took turns watching the girls while the other 2 went on game drives. On Friday we didn't do any game drives, b/c Pat went with 7 of his friends from work to play the "Signature Golf Course" and do the Extreme 19th hole. The golf photos will be posted soon. Here is the website telling about the amazing course: http://www.legendgolfsafari.com/golf-and-extreme-19th
These are some of the wild animals we all saw on the game drives. Above: a lion taking a crap. Below: more lions!!

Above: Me hanging out before our game drive.

Stef and Lil catching a ride up to the main entrance. This is where the restaurant/bar, TV lounge, gift shop, etc were.
During our evening game drive we stopped for "sun-downers." Pat and I took pics as the sun was setting.

Above: Isabel riding in front with our ranger, Nick. Don't worry it was like a 5 second drive and we were going soooo slow.

Below: While Pat was golfing, Stef and I took the girls for a little boat trip on the lake.

We saw hippos!!! If you look closely in the pic above you can see one.

Isabel wanted to sit with the ranger guys, go figure.

Before Stef and I went on our morning drive at 6am there was a mother rhino and her baby that walked right up to the lodge to get a drink from the pond. Cool huh.

Lions that are enjoying their "catch."

This is where we stayed...

Stef and I had fun taking pics of ourselves while the girls were napping.

Above: The lodge we stayed in. Below: The main entrance/lobby area.

This is where we stayed...Stay tuned for pictures of Pat's once in a life time golf experience with the EXTREME 19th HOLE and his helicopter ride to get there!!

  1. Looks like you had loads of fun during your African adventures. The happiness is all over your faces! I, too, would give my biggest smiles if I’m to see those incredible creatures. It is not every day that we encounter these amazing animals and see breathtaking views! [Jordan Hood]
